Curtis J. OBrien was born and raised in California. Spending much of his childhood and most of his adult life in the High Desert area, he is familiar with the advantages of living among cactus, lizards, and snakes. His familiarity with the area has allowed him to excel in land and residential sales during his real estate career. During the 2006 year Curtis joined with his partners to open a second Exit Strategy Realty office in the growing Barstow market while continuing to operate the Helendale office. As the Broker for Exit Strategy Realty he seeks to match his clients with available property in the Barstow and Helendale area.
Curtis' wife, Ginger, teaches 1st grade in the Barstow Unified School District. His son, Patrick, worked several years as a locksmith in Flagstaff, Arizona. He has recently joined the Coconino County Sheriff's Department as a Correctional Officer working in the County Jail. He hopes to enter the police academy this spring to advance his career in law enforcement. Curtis' daughter, Dawn, returned from serving a year's duty with the Army National Guard in Kosovo. She is currently receiving additional training to become a combat medic.
